China has voiced strong concerns over Israel’s recent military strikes on Iran. On Friday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry released a statement saying it is “closely following” the events and is worried about how the situation is unfolding.

China Raises Serious Concerns Over Israel’s Military Action

The statement was shared by Lin Jian, the spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, through a post on social media platform X.

“China is keeping a close watch on Israel’s attacks on Iran and is deeply worried about the serious consequences they might cause,” said Lin Jian. He stressed that China firmly opposes any actions that harm Iran’s sovereignty, security, or territorial integrity.

These remarks came after Israel launched a major military operation against Iran, named “Operation Rising Lion.” Israel claimed that it was a “pre-emptive strike” targeting Iran’s nuclear program. The attack reportedly focused on important nuclear sites and leading scientists in Iran. The mission, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was a “very successful opening strike.”

China did not support this move. Instead, it warned that such actions could worsen the already tense situation in the region. “No one benefits from the sudden warming of the region,” Lin Jian continued in his statement.

China Calls for Calm and Stability in the Middle East

Along with expressing concern, China made it clear that it wants all parties involved to avoid making the situation worse. Chinese Foreign Ministry: China urges relevant parties to steer clear of further escalation and pursue a path that fosters regional peace and stability.

China thinks that taking drastic measures will only make the Middle East’s citizens’ difficulties and suffering worse. The significance of defending nations’ rights and honoring their borders was underlined. Lin Jian stated that China is against actions that increase hostilities and tensions.

China added that it is prepared to assist in defusing the situation if necessary. It pledged to take part in initiatives aimed at lowering tensions and establishing peace in the area in a “constructive role.” However, the focus of China’s statement was to make sure that Iran’s sovereignty is respected, and that the fighting does not spread further.

The Chinese government has long supported peaceful dialogue and has often urged countries to solve their problems through talks, not war. In this case, Beijing has taken a clear stance against Israel’s strikes, calling them a violation of international principles.

Iran and Israel Continue to Trade Strong Words

Following Israel’s announcement of its military operation, Iran also responded strongly. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, has publicly criticized Israel’s behavior on multiple occasions. He claimed that Israel’s Zionist authority had committed a “serious mistake” and would pay the price.

“The Zionist regime has made a big mistake, a grave error, and a reckless act,” Khamenei declared. By God’s grace, this will have disastrous results for that dictatorship. He went on to say that the Iranian military is ready and that the Iranian people and government support them.

In a series of posts, Khamenei stressed that Iran would not let this attack go unanswered. He accused Israel of shedding the blood of Iran’s martyrs and of violating Iran’s airspace. He also called Israel a “despicable” and “terrorist” regime and warned that Iran would respond with great strength.

Khamenei said, “Today, we must give a strong response to the evil, despicable, terrorist Zionist identity. God willing, we will respond with strength, and will show no mercy to them.” He added that life would become “bitter” for Israel and that they would not escape easily from this attack.

China Warns Britain Over Provocative Remarks about Disputed Waters

These statements show that tensions between Iran and Israel have risen sharply. Israel claims that Iran is secretly building nuclear weapons, while Iran denies this and sees Israel’s attack as an illegal act of aggression.

At the center of all this, China has taken a firm stand against violence and in support of Iran’s national rights. It is watching the situation very closely and hopes the violence does not continue to grow. The Chinese Foreign Ministry’s message is clear — the attacks must stop, and the rights of nations must be respected.
