The Yemeni Armed Forces, linked to the Ansarallah movement, announced that they carried out a powerful missile strike against Israeli positions. The group said the strike was a direct response to the ongoing war in Gaza and to Israeli air raids on Yemen.
Major Attack Announced by Yemeni Forces
According to military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the attack included the launch of a Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missile. This missile, said to be equipped with multiple warheads, was reportedly aimed at the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. Saree declared that the strike “achieved its objectives” and caused civilians in the area to rush to shelters.
While no immediate confirmation came from Israeli officials, Saree described the strike as a success. He also underlined that these operations will continue as long as the war and blockade on Gaza remain in place.
Saree explained that the missile strike was a message of support for Palestinians facing airstrikes and restrictions in Gaza. He added that the Yemeni people have been standing firmly behind these actions despite repeated bombardments inside Yemen.

Multiple Missile and Drone Strikes in Different Regions
In addition to the attack on Tel Aviv, Ansarallah forces revealed details of two other major operations. These took place just days before the latest strike and involved both missiles and drones.
One of the attacks involved another Palestine 2 hypersonic missile launched toward the al-Naqab region. At the same time, three drones were used in a separate assault. Two of these targeted Ramon Airport in the southern city of Eilat, while another drone struck a military site in the Naqab.
According to Yahya Saree, these operations also reached their targets and forced residents in several areas to seek cover. The group emphasized that their strikes were aimed at “sensitive Israeli military sites.”
Local media in Israel reported that sirens were activated in Eilat and that explosions were heard after what officials described as a drone infiltration from Yemen. They also claimed that air defenses had intercepted one of the drones before it hit.
The Yemeni Armed Forces, however, insisted that their strikes were successful and said that their goal was to apply pressure by forcing “millions of settlers” into shelters during the attacks.
Expanding Campaign Across Different Targets
The Yemeni forces launched the recent hypersonic missile strike as part of their wider campaign to support Gaza. Over the past weeks, the group has claimed responsibility for several attacks reaching deep into Israeli territory.

These strikes have reportedly included long-range missile launches and the targeting of important airports, ports, and military facilities. In one earlier announcement, Brigadier General Saree said they had fired a hypersonic missile with multiple warheads toward areas around al-Quds.
The group has also carried out operations against commercial ships bound for Israeli ports, as part of their declared effort to disrupt supplies and transportation. The Yemeni forces described each attack as retaliation for Israeli airstrikes on Yemen. They also said the strikes answer the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Saree stressed that these actions were part of a continuing campaign. He said the conflict in Gaza must end. The blockade must also be lifted. Until then, their missile and drone strikes will continue.
The Palestine 2 hypersonic missile has drawn attention. It is said to carry multiple warheads. It can travel at very high speeds. This makes it hard to intercept. The Yemeni military stated that they used this weapon in multiple recent strikes against Israeli positions.
The announcement also praised the resilience of the Yemeni people, who continue to support these operations despite airstrikes on their own soil. It described their role as vital in maintaining the pressure and backing the cause of Gaza.
